FAULTY GOODS & PRODUCT ISSUES
We pride ourselves on the quality of the goods we supply and guarantee to replace or refund any goods that are found to be faulty or not fit for purpose. However, our liability is limited to the value of the purchased goods and we accept no responsibility for ANY costs associated with the supply of faulty goods.
Other product issues such as compatibility with light fittings, bulbs, dimmers and home automation systems are the responsibility of the customer. It is essential that your electrician or other qualified on-site professional is able to sign off the specification of supplied items and to establish their compatibility. We will provide all technical information needed but cannot accept responsibility for the compatibility of components within a system that was not supplied in its entirety by Mana Lighting.
All of our products are covered by a minimum one year guarantee where the items supplied are found to be faulty or not fit for purpose. Many of our items have longer guarantees where the manufacturer offers longer terms.
PRICES & VAT
All of the product prices on this website include UK VAT at the current rate of 20%. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time.
Should an incorrect price for a product be displayed on the website due to human error or a system glitch, we reserve the right to cancel any orders made for products at the incorrect price. All monies paid will hence be refunded. In the unlikely event that this should occur, we will contact you as soon as possible to advise on this situation. We are not obliged to honour the incorrect price for any future orders.
Each of our products is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that any, and all descriptions, details and prices appearing on our website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered into our system.
We aim to keep our website as up to date as possible. However, information appearing on our website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you purchase a product from us.
We hope that you are pleased with everything you buy from us. However, if you are unhappy with your products, you may return them to us in accordance with the terms set out in our Delivery & Returns page.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order with us. You have up to 14 days from when you receive your order to provide a written notice to firstname.lastname@example.org The cancellation period expires at the end of 14 days.
Goods that are made to measure or made to order are exempt from returns and cancellations. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.
We may make a deduction from your reimbursement if the loss in value of any goods supplied is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit card payments which are processed using a secure server. Our payment processors are PayPal, one of the world’s leading online payment providers.
Payment is taken when the order is placed. All cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Mana Lighting, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
DEBIT/CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Your credit or debit credit card number will be encrypted when you place your order. All financial transactions via our website are handled directly by our payment service providers, PayPal. Card details are not held in clear text on our website and are not stored by us on any machine connected to the Internet.
Please do not email us your credit card number as part of general correspondence as it’s generally not safe to do so.
MAKING A PURCHASE
When you have chosen product/s to add to your basket, press ‘Proceed to checkout’ and our secure checkout and payment system will guide you through the payment process, step by step. Please note that the basket does not commit you to anything, you can edit it or empty it at any point.
Once you have placed your order, we will send you an Order Confirmation email detailing the products you have ordered including price. Should there be any error or you do not receive an Order Confirmation, please email as soon as possible at email@example.com Can we automate this?
The Order Confirmation email is not an acceptance of your order and does not indicate that you have entered a contract with us. A contract is entered into between you and Mana Lighting when your order is deemed to be accepted by Mana Lighting at the point at which goods are dispatched when a further email will be sent.
SALES & DISCOUNTS
Mana Lighting reserves the right to, without prior notice, cancel, amend, invalidate or alter any promotional activity, codes, or discounts running at any time. Orders placed outside of the promotional period are not eligible for these offers. Offers cannot be applied or transferred to any previous or subsequent orders placed outside of the period stated.
Discounts cannot be combined. Only one promotional offer can be applied per single order.
We aim to get your items to you as soon as possible! You should have your item(s), we hold in stock within 3-5 working days from the time you place your order, but please be aware that this may increase to 10 working days during busy periods. We offer a huge range of items in many options and finishes. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot keep stock of every combination and, on occasion, this means your order may not be ready for immediate despatch. If this occurs we will contact you with an estimated delivery date. If this is too long we will happily refund your order.
Our delivery charges ONLY apply to UK mainland purchases. We reserve the right to make additional delivery charges for overseas deliveries and for remote parts of the UK such as the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Shetland, the Western Isles and certain parts of the Highlands. We recommend that all overseas customers call us to discuss their order and delivery charges before placing an order. We reserve the right to charge delivery for clearance or sale items which will be advised before purchase.
NOTE: Please do not book any trades’ people to fit goods ordered from us until you have received the items. Goods can be delayed to us from our suppliers. As we use a third-party shipper, it is also difficult for us to totally guarantee that a delivery will reach its destination on time after it has left us. We do NOT accept any responsibility for costs relating to the late delivery of products ordered from us.
All of our parcels travel with DHL UK on next day delivery. We try our best to ship everything that we have stock of in a timely fashion. There may be rare instances where this is not possible if you are in an area that may be harder to reach. If this is the case, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will see what can be done. We reserve the right to cancel orders up until the point of delivery.
We conform with the Distance Selling Regulations and all goods can be returned if they do not meet your requirements. However, the following conditions apply:
– Returned goods must be received by us within 14 days of receipt of goods. We may not accept goods returned outside of these time limits or, in certain circumstances, we may issue a credit note. This is at the discretion of Mana Lighting.
– Returned goods must be returned with all parts, packaging, instructions and must be in perfect condition. A refund will not be made unless all of these conditions are met.
– Goods must not be used in any way. Lighting, which, once fitted, cannot be returned.
– The customer is responsible for selecting a suitable means of returning the goods to us and must take responsibility for their safe return to us, taking out insurance if required.
– Postage to the customer and the return postage will not be refunded.
– We reserve the right to refuse a return, issue a credit note or apply re-stock charges for special order items.
– Processing a return will take up to 14 days.
